If you don’t mind me talking for hours, please ask me about climate change.

I’m passionate about environmental science and communication, and these two things go hand in hand. I started in academia in 2015, got my PhD in 2019, and worked as a research scientist until 2024. My main areas of research were climate model simulations, data analysis, and visualisation.

I slowly started to realise that I didn’t only want to study climate change, but also for everyone to know about it. I have been practising science communication since 2016 with two organisations (Sinapsi and Minerva). I participated in outreach activities for schools and the public, wrote blog posts, created social media content, and managed social media accounts.

It wasn’t enough. Science communication drew me in more and more, so I decided to make it my job. In 2024, I enrolled in the MSc Science Communication at UWE Bristol, which taught me a lot about communication theory and how to tailor my communication practice to the goal and audience. I earned my degree in 2026 and am ready to enter the next chapter of my career as a full-time communicator.
